Background
I am an Instructor at Health Services Academy (HSA), Islamabad. I have an MPH from the Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. Before joining HSA as an instructor, I worked in HSA as a research assistant and worked on two research projects. One was related to implementation of National TB control Programme in Tehsil Fateh Jang for dectecting and treating TB patients while the other was to study the prescribing practices of health care providers.

I am an FCPS part II trainee in Community Medicine and currently working under the supervision of Professor Shakila Zaman, Director, HSA. For my fellowship I looked at the job satisfaction amongst nurses working in the private and public sector hospitals.
Teaching
My main teaching is in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Research Methodology and Proposal Writing. In addition to the courses offered in the MSPH programme, HSA offers short courses from time to time in which I co-teach as well.
Research
My main research area of interest is adolescent health. I have worked in other areas as communicable diseases, reproductive health and health systems.
