Background
I am working as an Instructor in Maternal, New born and Child Health Unit (MNCH). I have done Masters of Philosophy (M.Phil.) from Quaid-i-Azam University in Human Genetics. I have done Diploma in Artificial Reproductive Techniques (USA) and Research Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine (USA).
I have joined Health Services Academy in July 2009 and have since been working here. I have coordinated and taught MNCH and Reproductive Health Courses for regular and extended program students of MSPH (Master of Science in Public Health). I have been involved in workshops and seminars on various aspects of public health in Health Services Academy.
Currently I am a PhD scholar. I am doing my PhD in Reproductive Endocrinology from Quaid-i-Azam University. I am working on the following two research projects.
“Effect of Magnetically selected non apoptotic sperm on fertilization and embryo development: An animal model”.
“Determine the correlation between apoptotic sperm fraction and intrauterine insemination (IUI) pregnancy rate”.

Teaching
I have been teaching courses in MNCH Unit and my special interest lies in Safe Motherhood, Maternal Health Care, Family planning, Abortions and Adolescent Health.
