Teaching

•  I have been teaching courses in MNCH Unit and my special interest lies in Safe Motherhood, Maternal Health Care, Family planning, Abortions and Adolescent Health.

Research

I have special research interest in the safe motherhood planning and adolescent health. With my scientific and medical background my goals are to use my expertise to improve women and men's reproductive health on a broader scale. My interest is to introduce modern contraceptive methods and devise effective family planning strategies to decrease maternal mortality ratio (MMR) in Pakistan. Another main area of interest for research is to address the social and public health issues due to infertility and highlight reproductive health problems of adolescents. I have special interest to explore the major causes of unsafe abortions and find the ways of their prevention. I intend to put all my efforts to disseminate safe motherhood planning and approach in our community through effective research and policy.

Publications
