Background
I am Assistant Professor of Health Promotion. I have an MPH from Quaid-i-Azam University and Master of Medicine in Public Health from the National University of Singapore. In addition I have Bachelors Degree from the Punjab University in European History and Sociology. Before joining Health Services academy I worked in the District Health Office, Islamabad Capital Territory, Islamabad.

I joined Health Services Academy in year 2000 and have since been working here. I have coordinated MPH Program for five years. I have also been involved in the Country Coordination Mechanism, Secretariat of Pakistan for two years. I have contributed in the Elderly Health Project in Health Services Academy.

Teaching
I have been teaching courses in Health Systems, Health Promotion and Medical Anthropology, Qualitative Research Methods along with other Social Sciences.
Research
My main research area of interest is health systems and their relationship with the social and behavioural sciences.
