During the one year
I spent doing my Master’s in Public Health at
HSA, I found the subjects so relevant and challenging,
and learning so interesting, that I was motivated
to work extremely hard. I feel I benefited enormously
from the MPH in terms of personal and professional
growth. Within a few months after the MPH, an NGO
offered me a regular job and I worked with them for
more than four years, following which I was offered
a position at the World Health Organization (WHO)."
- Dr. Humayun Rizwan
The MPH programme is necessary for public health and is the first step toward health management in Pakistan. What we really need in Pakistan is a cadre of professionals proficient in health management, which is too politicized right now. The MPH programme is going a long way toward achieving this."
Although we learned a lot during the MPH programme, in particular our aptitude for research was developed for the first time. Now I am much more interested in conducting research than I was before."
- Dr. Tabassum Mahmood
