1.3 Goal of the Academy
The goal of the Academy is to improve the health of the population of Pakistan and its surrounding region
by enhancing human resource development and contribution to evidence-based policies and practices.
1.4 Institutional Objectives
The objectives of the institution are to:

Produce competent, committed and skilled public health professionals.
2.
Discover and disseminate new knowledge in the field of public health.
3.
Assist in the translation of the knowledge into sound evidence-based policies and practices.
These objectives will be realized by adhering to institutional values, such as a merit-based system,
transparency, and quality, to be implemented through a multidisciplinary team, networking and a
sustainable institutional infrastructure.
