Applications must be made
on the prescribed original application form available
in the prospectus of the Academy. The prospectus may be
obtained in the following ways:
- directly from the Registrar’s office;
- by sending a written request addressed to the Registrar,
Health Services Academy, Opposite National Institute
of Health (NIH), Park Road, Chak Shahzad, Islamabad.
The prospectus will be delivered to you by mail. The
envelope, containing the Include a bank draft or
pay order of the amount of Rs. 1100/- drawn out in favour
of the Health Services Academy and request should be sealed and
marked ‘MSPH Prospectus’. Please provide
your correct address.
Alternately, the prospectus and admissions form may be
viewed online or downloaded
from the Academy's website.
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1100/-
will have to be paid as well. Include a bank draft or
pay order of the amount of Rs. 1100/- drawn out in favour
of the Health Services Academy in the completed application.

Completed applications should enclose the following:
- Domicile certificate
- Attested photocopy of Matriculation certificate
- Attested photocopy of Intermediate certificate
- Final degree certificate, along with transcripts
- Foreign students must submit
attested photocopies of any language proficiency
tests taken such as TOEFL

- Attested photocopy of identity card
- 3 passport-sized photographs
- Professional resume (one page)
- Attested photocopies of experience certificate(s)
- Two-stamped, correctly self-addressed
letter-sized envelopes
- Foreign students must submit
two reference letters from teachers, supervisors,
or employers

Completed applications must reach the
Registrar of the Academy on the address given below by
the closing date (to be announced as soon as it is finalized).
Incomplete applications and applications received after
the closing date will not be entertained.
Government employees can send applications in advance,
but are required to get their NOC from their respective
departments to enrol in the programme.
The final decision regarding appropriateness of a candidate’s
public health experience rests with the MSPH Admissions
Committee, Health Services Academy.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria
will then take a written screening exam, which will be
based on the GRE General Test issued by the ETS.
It will test verbal, quantitative and analytical abilities,
basic knowledge of public health, and will also include
a short hands-on test on computer skills. Candidates are
expected to know how to use Microsoft Windows, Microsoft
Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel. A
model test will be made available on the website soon.
Finally, those who clear the screening
exam will be interviewed, during which their suitability
for the programme will be assessed.
Note: International students who are
not resident in Pakistan will not be required to take
the screening examination or be interviewed. However, they must
send in two letters of reference instead. Please see the
