The 4th BOARD OF GOVERNORS Meeting is on 16th August 2007 at 11:00 am in the Health Services Academy,Islamabad.
The Health Services Academy website has been substantially updated recently.

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to an Information Sharing Meeting on Development of new courses at HSA which include Extended MSPH programme, Master of Health Management and Financing, Master of Science in Field Epidemiology, Diploma in Medical Entomology and Vector-Disease Control and the Doctoral Programme. Health Services Academy also seeks to apply for the International Accreditation.
Dr. Michael Thompson, Assistant Professor, University of North Carolina, Charlotte USA will present the draft for the international accreditation.
The meeting has been scheduled to be held on 28 th June 2007 at 9:30 am. at Health Services Academy, Chak Shahzad, Islamabad.

A two-day inception workshop for the development of a national plan on healthcare waste management was organized at the Academy in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO).

BoG Meeting Covered in Pakistan Observer
The Pakistan Observer
ran a news story on the third meeting of the Board of
Governors on September 4, 2006. The Tenure Track System
was approved and a 25% teaching allowance suggested for
faculty members at the HSA.
